In January 2014, we launched Design Co-founders (DC), a program to help bridge the financial gap between startups and their design needs. We work with 1-2 DC companies each quarter on an ongoing basis to help them reach their business goals through product design & development.
We give preference to startups that have been accepted into an accelerator or incubator, or to ones that have active advisors with some type of business traction.
DC companies receive design service grants from tailoredUX. We also provide support in product strategy throughout our partnership, & facilitated access to mentors and advisors in the Toronto community ‐ all with the end goal of helping your business take off.
Each startup and relationship is different, & we tailor our collaborations on an individual basis.
DC Partners have come out of The Digital Media Zone (DMZ) at Ryerson University, CSI, Haltech & MaRS.
Design Cofounders has just partnered with The Centre for Social Innovation (CSI) to offer unique DC services to recipients of the Ontario Catapult Microloan Fund for Social Ventures.
